NEMC in the Fourth of July virtual parade

“Community United Cannot Be Divided.” By now, I am sure you have noticed the holiday banners around town proudly displaying Evanston’s timely 4th of July theme! Although the North End Mothers’ Club will not be marching in this year’s event, please check out our presence in Evanston’s Virtual Fourth of July parade on YouTube. We owe a big thank you to our Publicity and Historian Board Member, Jan Ashton, for creating a festive video highlighting our accomplishments, our influence in founding the parade. Also, a special shout out to Sam Ashton for his videographer skills. You can view the virtual ceremony on July 4th at 2:00 PM at evanston4th.org and look for the NEMC towards the start of the show. Next year in 2021, get ready to help decorate our float and march with us when we celebrate the 100th year of the Evanston parade. Happy Fourth of July to you and your family! Let’s celebrate our independence by spreading love, hope, and optimism.
